Newcomers to the Ladbrokes online gambling suite can look forward to an array of promotional offers especially for sports-betting. Most of these deals are unlocked by entering in the appropriate promo code during the account creation process.
You can get 4 x £5 free bets, for a total of £20 in complimentary wagers, when you use the promo code B5G20. Keep reading to find out how to qualify.
£20 in Free Sports Bets
All you have to do is enter the B5G20 promo code when creating your account and then place a single bet of £5 or more. You’ll then receive four separate £5 free bets to use as you please immediately after placing your valid first wager.
We highly promote the B5G20 code for everyone looking to get into betting without risking too much of their own money. However, if you can spare £10, then you may wish to read our page about the GET30FREE special, which awards £30 in free bets. Or if you’re a serious bettor, our review of the BONUSBETS promotion will show you how to score £50 free.
Entering the Ladbrokes Promo Code
When you click through our link for Ladbrokes Sports, you’ll be brought to a page describing the B5G20 offer. Press the “Join Now” button in the top-right of your web browser. A signup form will appear. Fill out all the required fields, and put “B5G20” in the space indicated as displayed above.
Ladbrokes has deployed strong mobile features on its site, so you can sign up on your smartphone or tablet. The layout of the registration form is a bit different on mobile devices, and you can see what it looks like below:
Free Bet Rules and Restrictions
Only customer from the U.K. and the Republic of Ireland are eligible for the B5G20 free bets. You must make your initial deposit via a method other than Moneybookers, Paysafe, Neteller or Skrill.
Your first bet must be for at least £5/€5 and be a Win or Each Way wager. The odds on your selection have to be at least 1/2 (1.5). Your wager can be a single, double, treble, four-fold and higher acca, forecast or combination. You have to place your inaugural bet within 14 days of joining Ladbrokes, and it must adhere to these rules. If your first bet fails to meet the terms of the offer, then you cannot make a second bet to receive the free bets.
When your initial wager is accepted into the Ladbrokes system, you’ll get four separate £/€5 free bets credited to your account. You must use them within seven days or they will expire.
How to Use a Free Bet
Deploying your free bets on the contests that catch your eye is a straightforward matter. Browse through the sportsbook until you find a match you want to bet on. The types of wagers you’re permitted to use free bets on are:
- 4-fold and upwards accumulator
Click on the betting option you want, and enter £5 as your bet size. You’ll see a list of your free bets. Simply select the one that you want to use, and proceed with placing your bet. Once you confirm the details, your free bet will be applied toward your wager rather than spending your real money.
An important thing to note about free bets at Ladbrokes is that the free bet itself will be removed from your account upon the resolution of the event. You’ll get nothing back if you lose, and you’ll only receive the winnings, not the stake back, if you win.
Your £/€5 free bets must each be used to bet 5 currency units at a time. You can’t combine them together to make a larger wager, and you cannot split them up into smaller denominations either. You’re not allowed to cash out your free bets for less before they resolve; you must await the conclusion of the sporting event in question.
Free bets at Ladbrokes cannot be used on the Ladbrokes Exchange, for totes or other combinations, or named multiple bets, like the Lucky 15.
If you’re looking to put your money down on English Premier League or tennis, then Ladbrokes can certainly accommodate you. Be aware though that the betting selection is much more diverse than you might first realize and includes ice hockey, snooker, UFC, politics and even the outcomes of television shows!
Ladbrokes In Play Betting
Even if the game you wish to bet on has already started, you can still open up the In Play section of Ladbrokes and make your picks. While sporting contests are running, the bookie updates the odds in real time, allowing you to make new bets based upon changing circumstances.
Combine In Play betting with Ladbrokes’ streaming video service to heighten your enjoyment. To access the live steams, you must merely log into your account as long as you have a positive balance or have made a wager in the past 24 hours.
Ladbrokes Sports Promos
There’s always something going on to reward loyal customers at Ladbrokes. For a rundown of the various ongoing offers available, consult our review of the BONUSBETS promo code.
The available funding methods at Ladbrokes are extensive. Moneybookers, Neteller, Paysafe and Skrill are excluded from use with the B5G20 new customer offer, but you can still deposit with PayPal, credit card or bank transfer. Depending on the method you decide upon, you might not be able to add as little as £/€5 to your account, but you aren’t forced to bet more than £5/€5 to get your free bets. Even if you deposit £1,000, you still only need to wager £5 on your first bet although you can, of course, bet more.
We’ve been focusing on the sports action at Ladbrokes, but there’s also an interface where you can bet on horse and greyhound racing. Most of the races covered are in the U.K. and Ireland, but a few from abroad are carried too. Make your Win, Exacta, Forecast and other wagers, just like you would if you were present at the track yourself.
